Change in accommodation Amsterdam By: Bianca Date: May 06, 2005, 05:06:32 pm
I've had a look around for cheaper accommodation in Amsterdam. What I have so far is:

Hotel Arendshoek:

This hotel has apartments that have 4 single beds and will cost a player £80 for the 4 nights (including taxes)  - VERY CHEAP!

The rooms for couples will cost around £210 for the 4 nights (including taxes). Also quite cheap.

Take a look on the link below and let me know what you think.

Well done Bianca.

It s my opinion, but I think a studio 4 pers with kichenette, bath... is the best thing we can find for a tournament.

I like this studio.

Thanks you very much for the time you spend for the Team.

Ps: Have you read the mail  I send you to Paris?

Nico

Because it takes a while for you boys to get back to me, I went a head this afternoon and booked the studio 4 for the boys - yes, I know that I'm fabulous! But I've only reserved the room from 02 June to 06 June. It does't get better than £80 for 4 nights in Amsterdam!

I have also reserved a studio 3 for Jason, Bianca and Bevan so the 3 of us will share as it works out cheaper than if J and I book a room for just us 2.  NO, there won't be any kinky stuff!!!

I've also booked the flights for Jason, Bianca and Bevan on Easyjet.com. The flight costs £71.31 each.

Outbound:
Depart London GATWICK 06:10 arrive in Amsterdam 08:25.

Return
Depart Amsterdam at 08:35 arrive in London LUTON 08:45.

Remember that if you choose to return on the Tuesday, your flight will be cheaper!

Depends if you want to leave at 06:00 in the morning Smiley but maybe..

If we can hold off with booking flights until Tuesday I will have repaid your's and Tim's Ukraine flight to the credit card and will see if I can book same flight with discount or find something leaving an hour or two later if it doesn't mess up fare too much.

6 AM sucks but I'd prefer we all go out together. That we can all get there at the same times and walk the fields together. WE all know how important this is.

What time do we arrive from Kiev?

Ah ha, the reason i was worried about getting to Gatwick so early was all the work they are doing on Thameslink but on investigation that ends on the 16th May. I can get a train from station down the road to gatwick at 3:42 and get to gatwick at 4:52. So I'm good with early flight now. Smiley

We get in just after 20:00 otherwise I'd look for a way to go that evening.

nico have you booked your flight yet?Huh
Re: Change in accommodation Amsterdam By: IL-Ed Date: May 07, 2005, 11:36:26 pm
Even better, I can fly from Luton. Saves me half an hour on the Thameslink each leg and only cost £60. Arrives in Amsterdam 15 mins before you guys  so can just meet up in baggage claim. Anyone else want to use this flight? Welcome to stay at mine on the Wed night.

We save £25 on the return flight by doing it on Tuesday so that will pay for Hotel on Monday night.
