Training Sessions By: sammurphy Date: September 28, 2006, 06:11:43 pm
Hey, Im wondering about coming down for a training session in the half-term, im not sure if its the same for every school.
Im wondering if I could be aloud to come down to check out what is going on and get to know the Lions as I am interested in joining.
Also im wondering if someone could quickly reply with directions as I think i have them but just to make sure.
And also im wondering on how much money to bring with me, I have all my kit so will just have to pay for paint and green-fee
Thanks
Sam Murphy

Hi Sam
I got your email and will reply to you
But to answer your questions here:
1. You are very welcome to come down on a Monday evening to either watch or join in a training session.
2. Directions to the TPC, it would of course depend on your method of transport.... It's close to Canary Wharf Tube station, and you can walk from there, it approx takes 15-20mins
3. To take part in a training session with your own kit, I'd budget £40
Hope that helps

Sam
Not sure what you mean by "cheap" travel options, most of the guys drive to TPC. Those that don't will use the Tube from Canary Wharf
My only suggestion is that you'd be eligible for children's rates on public transport as under 16

Under 18's get free bus travel in London I think.Ask at your local tube stop how to get a child ID card to qualify.
